You need these for your chocolate fix. I love good rich chocolate flavours and these are so light and airy, for being gluten free.
If you prefer them a little more sweet you could add some chocolate icing to the tops of them. I prefer them less sweet and with the combination of the chocolate and the dates I love it. Hopefully I don’t eat them all at once.
Ingredients:
60 g almond flour
110g (slightly less than 1 cup) GF flour .. used Anita’s flour
50 g of dark chocolate
70 g of dates (about eight)
3 eggs
60 g (1/4 cup) yogurt
60 g (1/2 cup) cocoa powder
60 g (1/2 cup) brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
100 g (slightly less than 1/2 cup) butter
4 g (2 tsp) flaxseed
1 Tbspn coffee

Method:
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs and lightly beat
Mix flaxseed with the yoghurt
Cream butter and sugar
Add eggs and beat
Blitz dates and chocolate in blender and add to the butter, sugar and eggs.
Sprinkle flaxseed over the yoghurt and water. Quickly whisk these together and add to the wet ingredients
Add in flours and baking powder.
Mix and shape into balls. Press flat with wet hands.
Bake 350°F for 10 to 12minutes

How much water do you use with the flax and yogurt?
